Public Consulting Group (PCG) is proud to announce its five-year recertification as a Quality Improvement Organization-like (QIO-like) entity by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). A QIO-like entity consists of health quality experts, clinicians, and consumers who work together to improve the quality of care delivered to Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.

PCG has launched a new quarterly employee recognition program for Fiscal Year 2020, called the EPIC Awards. Focused on a different theme each quarter, the EPIC Awards are designed to help bring the four tenets that define PCG’s mission—Entrepreneurial Spirit, Passion, Impact, and Community—to life in a tangible way.

Bill Mosakowski, the founder, president and chief executive of PCG, is among five new members who have been appointed to the USA Board of Directors for CARE, a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. The new board members will each serve a three-year term from 2019-2022.

On September 16, 2019, a federal district court judge in the District of Columbia removed a policy of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that lowered the amounts off-campus, hospital-based clinics can receive for treating Medicare patients.
