Thank you, City Year Boston, for Giving PCG the Opportunity to Support Local Students!
This year, in lieu of our annual, in-person day of service at the Maurice J. Tobin School in Roxbury, MA, City Year Boston (CYB) created a way for Public Consulting Group (PCG) to support the school virtually. On May 21st, 38 PCG employees volunteered to create science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) kits for local students. Kits included spy decoders to enhance students’ logical reasoning, mystery engineering challenges, and art supplies for mini murals!
All project supplies were mailed to volunteers’ homes the week before the event. During the event, CYB virtually provided an overview of the project and how it would impact students, and they facilitated activities. Thank you, CYB, for giving PCG this opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of kids in the Boston community!
