Colleagues across the firm marked the end of our fiscal year in true PCG Cares fashion – they celebrated by volunteering in their communities and engaging in some fun team-building activities. Here are highlights from just a few of the PCG Cares events that took place from coast to coast.

In Clarkston, Washington, PCG staff spent an afternoon painting ceramic bowls for the YWCA’s “SOUPport Our Shelters” annual event in February, during which, YWCA staff sell over a thousand hand-painted bowls filled with homemade soup to community members. Others from Clarkston spent time assisting the ROC Rescue Mission—a non-profit organization that helps those in need of food, clothing, and temporary shelter—by pulling weeds, providing administrative support, and doing miscellaneous yard work. A third group of PCG colleagues from the Clarkston office volunteered at the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter doing yard work, cleaning the kennels, and filling up plastic pools of water to help the dogs stay cool in the July heat.

Staff from our office in Columbus, Ohio, took the opportunity to volunteer at the Goodwill Columbus' Trail Day, where they assisted with set up (and tear down) for the organization’s first ever trail day. The group had a blast helping adults with special needs enjoy the beautiful walk along the Olentangy River Trail.

In SeaTac, PCG staff celebrated year-end by volunteering at Food Lifeline, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger in Western Washington. Thanks to their efforts, the team helped to create 7,180 meals for those in need!

A team from our Tampa office marked the end of the fiscal year (and the start of the new year!) with three days of volunteering at Feeding Tampa Bay, a non-profit organization focused on providing food to the hundreds of thousands of food-insecure families in the 10-county area of West Central Florida.

 In Raleigh, PCG staff kicked off their year-end office party with a team service event for Meals on Wheels, an organization that works to provide nutritious meals to people 60 years old and over who are homebound and/or disabled, or would otherwise be unable to maintain a balanced meal.

 Members of our Albany team celebrated year-end by volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House. They spent the afternoon in the kitchen, baking and providing homemade treats to brighten the day of the families residing at the House.
