January marks National Mentorship Month, a time to recognize the power of mentorship in fostering growth, creating opportunity, and developing inclusive leadership. As a firm that prides itself on being people-centric, PCG believes that mentorship is about more than just giving back—it’s about building connections and promoting a culture of innovation and belonging.

Why Mentorship Matters

Mentorship is a cornerstone of professional and personal growth. It allows individuals to:

  • Advance their career—Mentorship provides valuable insights, advice, and guidance to help mentees navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Build community—It fosters meaningful connections and creates a sense of belonging across diverse identities and experiences.
  • Strengthen leadership—Mentorship empowers leaders to inspire and uplift others, leaving a lasting impact on both mentees and the firm.

At PCG, we believe mentorship is a two-way street. Not only is it about teaching, it’s also about learning, growing, and inspiring. That’s why we invest heavily in creating mentorship programs help drive inclusion, innovation, and growth. We believe that these programs do more than just build individual connections—they amplify our impact on the communities we serve.

Mentorship in Action at PCG

PCG offers a range of mentorship opportunities to help shape careers, empower others, and make a lasting difference.

PCG's Neurodiversity Internship Program

Our growing Neurodiversity Internship Program offers employees the opportunity to mentor neurodiverse interns who join PCG’s standard summer internship program for 10 weeks. Launching in May 2025, the first mentee cohort will welcome five to 12 interns. This program fosters an inclusive workplace while equipping mentors with skills to support neurodivergent talent. This upcoming summer, our Neurodiversity Internship Program will grow from five to twelve interns. This program is a great opportunity to get involved and develop your leadership skills.

Health Practice Area Mentorship Program

PCG’s Health practice area has a dedicated mentorship program to help facilitate employee growth and development. By fostering professional relationships between employees across various offices, teams, and job functions, this program aims to connect people who may not otherwise interact on a day-to-day basis.

American Corporate Partners (ACP) Military Mentorship Program

American Corporate Partners (ACP) aims to combat veteran and military spouse underemployment by connecting transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses with corporate mentors who can help guide them into civilian careers. Through PCG’s corporate partnership with ACP, PCG employees can mentor veterans and military spouses as they transition into the civilian workforce.

Disability:IN Mentorship Programs

Disability:IN is the nation’s largest workplace disability advocacy organization. A longtime partner of Disability:IN, PCG participates in two of its mentorship programs:

  • NextGen Leadership Program—Connects PCG employees to college students and recent graduates with disabilities.
  • Early Career Accelerator Program—Connects PCG employees with early-career talent with disabilities.
